Grandma Aida's meatballs / meatloaf
1.5 pound of lean chopped beef
1.5 tablespoons of parsley, oregano, & basil
About ¾ cup of seasoned bread crumbs
¼ Gulden’s mustard
¼ Ketchup
Mix / bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes to an hour, depending upon the oven.
Meatballs: shape the meat into balls and place in a roasting pan. Bake in the oven; turning them every 10 – 15 minutes. Can now be used to simmer in a tomato sauce.
The meatballs can be frozen. Great insurance for the time when you don't want to start from scratch. You can place them in a Tupperware made for the freezer or a Zip lock type freezer bag. This allows you to take out only the amount that you need. Leave the rest for another time!
I have not been that happy with freezing the meatloaf and I do not recommend it.
