Brownie Cake
Brownie Cake
Prepare 2 / 9” or 8” cake pans by first Crisco the pan, line with wax paper and then crisco the wax paper.
This helps you to remove and handle the brownie layer cake.
Bake 350 for 20 minutes
While the cake is cooling /
MIX:
1 can of Condensed Milk
1 package of instant vanilla pudding
4 oz Cool Whip
Chill this mixture briefly to allow it to set
Pint or Quart of strawberries
Remove the green stems. Those that are not as pretty as the other, slice for the inside layer of the cake/ maybe four to six depending up their size.
Place one layer of the cake on a serving dish. Pour ½ of the Condensed milk mixture on the bottom layer and spread evenly. Take about 1/3 of the strawberries and slice and place on top of the mixture..
Put the second layer on top and pour the remainder of the Condensed Milk mixture and place the better looking strawberries on the top.. I cut the tops off and make the strawberries have a flat side and put them on the cake up side down. They look like a red mountain range. The idea is to cover the top of the cake.
This cake looks like you have purchased it at a bakery.
Very rich cake, make smaller servings
Ready to enjoy
