  • Sauerkraut

    4 slices of browned bacon
    1 chopped brown onion
    1 grated potato  (drain and rinse)
    1 can of sauerkraut (drain and rinse)
    1 cup of chicken broth
    2/3 cup of apple sauce
    1 Tbsp brown sugar
    ½ tsp caraway seeds
     
    Saute the bacon and the onion until the bacon is cooked and the onion is brown, set it aside. (…)

  • Hungarian Pork Chops

     
     
     
    8 lean chops (3/4 “ thick)      2 Tbsp flour
    1 ½ Tbsp butter                       1 large onion chopped
    2 tsp Hungarian paprika       ½ tsp crushed caraway seed
    2 crushed garlic cloves          ½ cup chicken broth
    1 Tbsp tomato paste               1 green pepper diced & seeded
    1 chopped tomato

    1 double cut pork chop (thick pork chop)
    5 dried apricots
    Dab of butter
    Salt and pepper

  • Croquettes

    Food Processor Recipe for left over chicken or turkey (or almost anything, really!), great for Thanksgiving leftovers
     
    1 small onion quartered
